Plot Summary

In the Camargue of the Belle Époque, as new ideas begin to shake up the heritage of a world divided between rich and poor, sedentary and nomadic, Carmen is a young gypsy girl barely 18 years old who is discovering life. The fiery gypsy, a woman barely out of her teens, longs for freedom in a man's world. To achieve her goals, the ingenuous girl does not hesitate to use her only asset—her body.
